Local Happenings
Are you ready for Christmas? I’m not and probably won’t be until the last second, as usual. Shopping is not one of my best traits. I go in, get what I’m after, and try to find the shortest checkout. I’m not a good shopper. I can say that I’m closer this year than ever before on this date and I believe it’s because of the recent buildup of shopping areas here in Prattville. Our new category on Shopping in Prattville should serve as a guide for you as you try to find those last minuet gifts. Go to our home page and look up shopping stores now located in Prattville. I think you’ll find that you no longer have to travel to Montgomery or Birmingham to find what you need. Isn’t that great? |
Our Progress The Prattville Guide has now been ranked and listed in the Google Search Engine. We are now a part of the Google Family. We are using Google Mail, Google Calendar, and Google Documents in support of The Prattville Guide Web Site. All of these tools work very well with our web site and will prove to be very valuable to our visitors and members. We just launched our very own Forum with Delphi Forums. This is a place where Prattvillians can meet and talk about things going on in Prattville. It’s a community Forum and already has over 16 separate categories for you to choose from and add to. We have a Meetings board, a Yard Sales board, a Schools board, a Teen’s Board, a Sports board, and even a Complaint board. There are several others. It’s FREE and easy to sign in to. Come and join us on the only public forum about the City of Prattville on the web. |
